Take a Break From Stress

Life brings stress on its own, but during these days of social distancing and ongoing grief because of the COVID-19 pandemic we’re all dealing with a higher level of stress.  Twice a week I will be offering brief mindfulness meetings intended to help you lower your stress level to enhance your well-being in these difficult days.  Our online meetings (using the Zoom platform) will be brief, relaxing, and resilience-building.  The agenda for each meeting is simple:

Noon               A Brief Talk from Dr. Walsh: Lessons we can learn from Mindfulness

12:05 – 12:20  Gently guided Mindfulness Meditation

After 12:20 feel free to stay in the Zoom Meeting site for reflection and conversation.  The Zoom Meeting will have to close by no later than 1 pm

We will be having these meetings every Tuesday and Thursday.  All meetings will commence at noon.

Each meeting will be documented and summarized, with a link to a recording of the first half of the meeting (the Mindful Talk and Guided Meditation).  You will be able to find that summary under the tab “Take a Break From Stress” on the Main menu in the Header of this website.

So please join us for a time to sit back, take a breath, and reflect a bit so that you can return to the activities of the day and the stress you are experiencing with a calmer and more grounded mindset.
